Michelle Lee

Acupuncturist

Dr. Michelle Lee is a 4th-generation acupuncturist, as her great-grandfather is one of the first officially recognized Eastern medical doctors of South Korea. She is the direct descendant to the royal doctors of Korea. With the official duties as doctors to the royal family, Dr. Michelle's ancestors have found treatments with infertility issues, as well as herbal formulas for anti-aging properties.
With such a rich heritage in infertility and dermatology, naturally Dr. Michelle gravitated towards gynecology and dermatology as her specialties. She is highly sought after for her seminars in private sectors. Dr. Michelle has also worked with a global cosmetic brand on the Research and Development team to create an herbal skin care facial line for 6 years. Her extensive knowledge on skin care products, coupled with the efficiency of herbs in topical use has made Dr. Michelle a leading expert in dermatology acupuncture. During her Master's program, she was invited by the University of Southern California to perform her externship for 3 terms due to high demand from the USC athletes and students. As she worked extensively with the USC football team, she gained popularity with her gentle needle techniques with incredible results and has continued to see professional athletes for their sports injuries, as well as during their conditioning seasons to prep their bodies for optimal playing condition. Dr. Michelle is one of the few acupuncturists who will have achieved a doctoral degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, with research for Alzheimer's, anxiety in adolescents, and dermatology acupuncture.

Dr. Michelle is Atlanta's celebrity acupuncturist with clientele ranging from artists and entertainers, to collegiate and professional athletes. Fluent in English and Korean. Proficient in Spanish.

There are different possibilities for your back pain. Depending on an internal or external cause of pain, the treatment will vary. Each technique varies upon practitioner, but I practice traditional acupuncture, as well as having our own proprietary technique that has been passed down generations in my family. My aim is to get rid of the pain from the root, and not just "ease the pain" by addressing the symptoms.
