For better suction/grip, many patients use over-the-counter products to help keep dentures and partials in. Denture Adhesive comes in various forms and is at most drug stores and local convenience stores. It is applied to the denture or partially in small amounts before being placed in the patient's mouth.

recommendation is. Ultimately, the infection will need to be under control/eliminated before safely extracting/treating teeth. If pain has worsened significantly, they may recommend a higher dosage or different antibiotic.
