Dr. Miladys Palau-Collazo has been practicing in Florida since 2013. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico/Medical Sciences Campus. She completed her residency program in pediatrics at New York-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. She completed her fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Yale-New Haven Hospital / Yale School of Medicine in Connecticut.

During her fellowship, she participated in multiple research projects with type 1 diabetes including research on the artificial pancreas. She volunteers and is an active board member of the Greater Palm Beach Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Chapter (JDRF).

Dr. Miladys Palau-Collazo is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology. She specializes in treating children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, obesity, prediabetes, metabolic syndrome, pituitary disorders, growth disorders such as short stature, puberty disorders (early or late puberty), polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, disorders of calcium and Vitamin D metabolism, and certain syndromes such as Turner Syndrome, Noonan’s Syndrome and Klinefelter Syndrome among others. She is married to Fabian Lozada and has 2 beautiful children.
