4. Jason DaSilva

Jason DaSilva is an American director, producer, writer, and disability rights activity. He is best known for his Emmy Award winning documentary titled “When I Walk.” The documentary follows his life after his primary progressive MS diagnosis at the age of 25. Being refined to a wheelchair, DaSilva uses his platform to address the stigmas of disability, to show how he copes with the challenges of MS, and to shine a light on the disease.

“It is all about freedom. As long as I can keep doing things creatively, or making things, I’m OK” said DaSilva.
