Montel Williams is a former American television talk show host, radio talk show host, and actor. He went public with his MS diagnosis in 1999, stating that he thought MS was a death sentence. However, Williams turned his fear into a foundation on MS research, which he started in 2000. 16 years later, in 2016, he started a medical cannabis company called LenitivLabs. The organization is promoting innovative, high quality medical cannabis products as an alternative treatment for MS symptoms.
“I refuse to let anyone else define me as a person with MS other than myself. When the doctors tell me I should be tired, I refuse to buy it and I'm not” said Williams.
