James Coburn
This actor was most active in the 1960s and 1970s, and took part in such iconic movies as the original The Magnificent Seven as well as The Great Escape. His rheumatoid arthritis caused him to retire in the 1980s, but he recovered enough to start acting again in the 1990s.
He claimed that alternative medicines alongside a drug called MSM had cured his arthritis. He passed away from a heart attack in 2002.
