Alyssa’s lemonade stand has grown into a non-profit organization called Working on Walking (WOW). Established in 2014, WOW’s main goal is to fundraise through various activities to promote not only their cause, but to also educate the public about SMA.
Continuing with Alyssa’s legacy of making money to help those with SMA, WOW is completely volunteered based, which means that 100% of all donations go towards making a difference in the lives of those who have been affected by the disease.
