His inspiration led to life-changing treatment
One of the researchers of USC and an associate at the USC School of Pharmacy is Professor Stan Louie. He believes their work led them to a life-changing treatment that will help many patients and families. Hawken gave a face to Duchenne which enabled the researchers to pursue and work harder and further improve and develop the therapy.
