Continuous Negative External Pressure as an Alternative Treatment for Sleep Apnea

Studies and tests cNEP is currently undergoing

According to Kram, an expert on the board of the National Sleep Foundation, who is also a lead designer of this study, the approach is pretty similar to the way CPAP was tested back in the days. Negative pressure is applied to the patient, starting at the lowest rate possible and gradually increasing it while looking for a beneficial response. Once this response has been spotted, experts repeat the process until they find the right amount of pressure to be applied in order to help patients sleep through the night.
