Don't overwhelm them with information
While you have likely been told, and researched, many scientific facets of multiple sclerosis, be careful when it comes to including that information in what you share with your friends and family. This is because knowledge of a loved one having multiple sclerosis can automatically be a shock, but being bombarded with scientific information could simply be too overwhelming.
