Games to Motivate Children With Cystic Fibrosis to Do Lung Exercises
Different types of games
The Royal Berkshire National Health Service Hospital has a much longer list of games that kids can play. In one game, the goal is to blow a ping pong ball from one plastic cup to another. Another game is soccer but with a miniature field and straws that are used to try and blow the ping pong balls into the goal. This list also suggests toys that can help strengthen lungs. Most toys are various types of wind instruments such as the recorder. These are great alternatives until digital games come out on the market, and depending on insurance, may be a better long term option for some families.
