With little and large contributions here and there from private and corporate donations, the foundation has been able to raise nearly $100,000 in cash and equipment. All of the proceeds go to helping support daily treatments and to funding research focused on improving treatment options and finding a cure for cystic fibrosis. Underwood practically spends all of his time helping others through his charity work, striving to ensure that those living with the chronic condition get the best treatment possible. “I’m in awe of the strength and determination of people living with Cystic Fibrosis. The Legacy Foundation is designed to help minimize the barriers they face as they live, grow and work toward their dreams,” he said on his website.
