Lupus is an incurable autoimmune disease that affects more women than men
While it did take researchers a lot to get to their final results, this study further contributes to our understanding of the severity of lupus as a potential cause of death. Lupus doesn't yet have a cure, affects the immune system, and affects women approximately 10 times more often than men, especially those of Asian and African descent.
