Participating in studies and being an active member of the Center will not necessarily translate into curing the disease, it can, however, go a long way in helping patients and their families. In other words, instead of sitting around at home waiting for the disease to take over their life, the Center is encouraging patients to take action, fight a little and hold on to hope.
