Multiple Sclerosis: Researchers Are Recruiting for Genetic Studies
Relapsing-remitting MS
RRMS is the most common form of MS. RRMS is said to occur when new or current neurological symptoms present themselves as clear attacks on the body. The symptoms in RRMS are followed by occasional periods of remission (complete or partial recovery). While a patient is in remission symptoms will sometimes completely disappear and the disease does not progress. After a period of remission, the symptoms will eventually return and the disease will once again begin to progress.
