The FM/a-Test: Is it Accurate?

What to avoid before the test

Before undertaking the test, the ailing individuals are usually advised to stop taking supplements and medications that can prevent their immune systems from revealing fibromyalgia markers. Some of the medications one should not take just before the test are anti-cancer medications, steroid medications, and anti-transplant rejection medications.

Using the aforementioned drugs while taking this test can make it ineffective. However, every patient should obtain approval from his or her doctor stopping any drugs she or he is currently taking. A patient should also stop taking immunosuppressive medications 2 weeks before having the test.
