The Star Effect: How Celebrity Awareness Brings Lupus to the Forefront

Following Cannon’s diagnosis and his subsequent lifestyle changes to effectively treat his lupus, he decided to use his experience with the disease to develop a web series called The NCredible Health Hustle, which captures his sometimes difficult journey but also helps to paint a realistic view of life with lupus. Canon has also quickly realized the importance of becoming an advocate for the disease and became involved with the Lupus Foundation of America. Using his celebrity status he hopes to be able to spread the word about lupus and other autoimmune disorders, to not only increase awareness about the disease but also to educate others.
