Depression in Parkinson’s disease patients is associated with the reduction of [11C] RTI-32 binding in the limbic regions. It was also found that there is an opposite connection between the binding of [11C} RTI-32 in these areas and the seriousness of mood disorders and anxiety and in Parkinson’s patients.
