Vitamin D Testing Can Predict Risk of Multiple Sclerosis in Women

What does vitamin D deficiency have to do with multiple sclerosis?

It turns out that studies in the past have found an association between vitamin D deficiency and increased risk of multiple sclerosis. However, though we now know of this link, there isn't enough information on whether adequate levels of the vitamin help reduce the risk of this disease. Because of this, we don't really know whether or not supplementing vitamin D can help reverse this phenomenon.
