Jerry Lewis was married twice. He was first married to Patti Palmer, a singer, in 1944 and divorced 1980. They had 6 sons together. He then married his second wife, SanDee Pitnick in 1992. They had one daughter (adopted). Unfortunately, last August 20, the world lost Jerry Lewis to cardiac disease and peripheral vascular disease. Over the course of Jerry’s life, he had troubles with addiction to painkillers due to this back pain which he obtained while falling on one of his performances. He had also dealt with cardiac arrests, lung problems, and more complications due to his diminishing age.
