10 Lifestyle Changes for Crohn's and Colitis

Hydration

This is important for everyone whether you have IBD or not, and it is something that many of us do not focus on enough. Thinking about a glass of water when you are busy rolling through the motions of your daily life is not common. However, that one extra glass can do wonders. If your IBD symptoms involve diarrhea, you are much more prone to being dehydrated which can intensify your current symptoms and cause a range of other ones as well. If you have constipation, that may mean that you are not getting enough water. Whatever your symptoms are, make sure that hydration is a priority.
