The brain can produce enough energy to turn on a light bulb
While we can't turn on a light bulb just by holding it, researchers found that our brains when they're active can produce enough energy to power a light bulb. When we're awake, our brain uses electricity to think, move, see, and dream, and it does this by producing electrical signals known as a neurotransmitters through a pathway of neurons. In fact, you can say your brain is always active.
