Therapies vary depending on the individual patient, but there are certain subtypes that receive similar, if not the same, remedies.
Most of the patients will receive chemotherapy as a baseline, and further treatment in addition. For those who are eligible for transplants, who tend to be younger, they will often receive an autologous stem cell transplant. This procedure utilizes stem cells from another person to supplement the chemotherapy. High-dose therapy is also used in addition, and upon completion of these three therapies, rituximab maintenance will follow.
