Simultaneous use of the following medicines are usually not recommended but is sometimes necessary:
This drug combination may make these conditions worse. Also, Prezcobix should not be given to patients with the severe liver disease.
3 Proper Usage
Proper usage of Prezcobix requires strict adherence to your doctor’s orders. Do not change the dosage or timing without consulting your doctor first.
If you are low on supply, get your prescription refilled before you run out. It is important that you keep on taking this medication unless your doctor says otherwise.
Take didanosine 1 hour or 2 hours after taking Prezcobix. Adult patients usually get 800 mg, and the dose for children should be determined by their doctor.
If you miss a dose and it’s been over 12 hours, skip it and resume normal timing. Do not double dose. Keep your medications in a safe place and away from the reach of children.
