New Autism Regression Research Looks Promising for Diagnosis
How was regression thought to originate?
During that time, it was often assumed that the children with regression were products of unaffectionate mothers who caused developmental delays. In recent times, vaccines have been blamed for this same form of the disorder. There has been no evidence linked to the truth of either. Regression in autism is still an unclear definition this many years later. Numerous studies have been reviewed and this regression type of autism remains to be proven.
