Making Halloween a Special Treat for Children with Diabetes

Candy should be eaten in small doses

Instead of focusing on what a child can't have, try to find ways that will excite them! If you want to allow your child to have some candy, you might want to take this up with your child's physician. However, it might be alright if you allow your child to have a small dose of their hard-earned candy. It may make your child feel left out, but this is still something to keep in mind.
