ā€œAdenomyosis Solutionā€

I have adenomyosis and fibroids and my periods are unbearable Iā€™m wanting to find a solution that will allow me to still have a child. Is an andenomyectoy and option or is birth control the best option?

Thank you for reaching out. Both of the conditions that you stated you are diagnosed with: Adenomyosis and Fibroids can cause heavy menstrual bleeding and pain. Therefore, the initial attempt to alleviate this problem is to try "non surgical" approaches.
Myomectomy is a surgical option ; removing adenomyomas is a little tricky technically because they don't always have distinct capsules. Surgery decision would be based on location and also size of the fibroid/adenomyoma(s). Birth control pills are definitely worth a try. You could also ask if Myfembree is an option for you (approved for up to 2 years for women with heavy periods due to fibroids, and also indicated for endometriosis).
