“Am I eligible for the covid booster?”
Hello, my husband and I received 2 doses of the AZ Covieshield vaccine for Covid-19 whilst staying in Grenada, WI. The UK Government is still not recognizing this vaccine. We are over 65 years old and should be eligible for a booster. If the Covieshield is not recognized, which booster vaccine should we have and will we then be considered fully vaccinated for travel/social events. We returned to the UK in August have received the second AZ dose in April.
The Government states: Grenada: Added to this list of countries and territories with approved proof of vaccination 4am Monday 11 October. If you arrived in England before then, you must follow the rules for people who are not fully vaccinated. If you arrive after that, you can use a vaccine certificate to prove your vaccination status.

The UK supports a booster dose of the Astra Zeneca vaccine for people over 65. It should be 6 or more months after the last dose. That should complete your vaccination.
