OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

Am I pregnant or just depressed?

Good day. I've been having some issues with my body lately. I'm always tired. I'm out of breath and slightly depressed. I don't eat anymore. I'm nauseated at the sight and taste of food. I'm sleeping a lot. I had a stillbirth in May. And the first day of my last period was on the 24 of November. I'm still spotting.

Hello: did you mean 10/24, not 11/24? You need to get a urine pregnancy test and if positive then get to your OB ASAP to get your BP and the plans for the pregnancy in place. You could be depressed and I am sure you are scared because of the previous loss. Keep the faith and you will be able to handle this don't worry. Good luck and keep me posted.
Kindly get a pregnancy test and follow the results with your physician if positive.
Definitely do a home urine pregnancy test. Reach out to your OBGyn or primary care provider for further evaluation of depression. Get your blood counts and thyroid tests done for evaluating your tiredness. If you are not exercising, do so, you will feel better! Start off with a 10-20 minute walk once or twice a day.
Take care of yourself! Stay safe!
