OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

Am I pregnant?

I finished my period on the 29th of December and had sex on the 31st. When my boyfriend pulled out and ejaculated we noticed that the condom broke. I took Escapelle morning after pill in an hour and my ovulation window is on the 7th of January, whilst my next period is on the 21st. What are the odds of me not getting pregnant since I took the morning-after pill?

If you period lasts 7 days and sex occurred 2 days later, then you were on the 9th day of your cycle. It is important to know how long a woman’s cycle is (start of one period to the start of the next period) to give sound advice. The first 14-15 days of the cycle are called the follicular phase. I’m Natural Family Planning methods this is the more fertile time of the month. 3-4 days AFTER ovulation the possibility of pregnancy goes down. Good idea taking the morning after pill.
It’s September, so with respect to the question written in January, I think you would know if you were pregnant and may have already delivered the baby.

Effectiveness of morning after pill is 95% if taken within 24 hours. You should be fine since you had a period(you got it sooner due to morning after pill). You also avoided your ovulation window.
Recommend using effective contraception.
Take care!
The same odds that your morning after pill quotes in preventing pregnancy. You took the morning after pill correctly.
Sure. First, if you are pregnant , you should no by now- given this event was 8 mths ago. Also given you took the E- pill immediately, it is likely you may not be pregnant.
