Cardiologist Questions Emergency Physician

Ambulance or ER?

All day, my chest has been tight so I don't feel I'm getting a full breath. My hands, feet, and lips feel tingly and my stomach feels like I'm being stuck with tiny needles. Should I go to the ER or call an ambulance or wait and see in the morning?

Call your doctor or go to the ER. Have someone drive you if you go to the ER.
I recommend ED evaluation. The tingling may be due to fast shallow breathing resulting in low CO2 levels and subsequent tingling sensation Try to slow your breathing or breath into a paper bag if this is the case. Otherwise, with you age and reported chest tightness I would recommend ED evaluation to r/o cardiac and other possibly significant causes of your symptoms.
