“Any idea what this could be? ”
I have been to the hospital twice recently with this sharp chest and back pain. Both times they didn't give me any diagnosis. They did refer me to Cardiologist, but all they have done for me so far is ultrasounds. I'm really wondering what may be the cause, as it's now coming up on 6 months since this started.

For someone your age, it may be acid reflux or esophageal spasm. Sometimes slight inflammation of the chest bone called costochondritis can do it. but definitely not life-threatening.
