Are dental bridges hard to keep clean?

I will get a dental bridge next week. Are dental bridges hard to keep clean?

Yes, I agree dental bridges can be more difficult to keep clean when compared to regular teeth. Our patients are really good with using waterpik and superfloss as adjuncts to their brushing routine.
It is easy to keep the dental porcelain bridge clean by using a floss threader, and passing the floss from in between the two teeth and gum side to clean under the pontic ( The fake tooth substituted ) in between the two anchored teeth!
This will avoid accumulation of food under the fake tooth, use of water pik is also advised!
The treating dentist must make sure that the dental lab have created enough space so the floss pass between 2 teeth! If Not enough space that makes your job extremely difficult!
