“Are my progesterone levels ok? ”
I did a progesterone test and my test is 1.58 ng/ml. * in my 20 days after my period* Is that okay?
Female | 20 years old
Medications: None
Conditions: I used to have hypothyroidism

Dear Patient,
If you have a usual 28-day cycle, it seems like progesterone level is low. The progesterone levels surge with ovulation which usually occurs on day 14. If your egg is not fertilized, the levels start to fall at about 10 days after ovulation. I am uncertain if you had an ovulatory cycle. This should be discussed with your gynecologist or a reproductive endocrinologist. The past hypothyroidism, which I assume is now controlled without meds, is not a problem.
