Eyelid twitches or spasms are usually caused by stress, fatigue or caffeine. They usually go away without treatment in a few days or weeks. If they are not improving a complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed.
You may be experiencing a focal eyelid twitch or blepharospasm.
Lid twitching is very common. There are no known cures, but many folk remedies. Severe cases involving both the upper and lower lid are called blepharospasm, which can be treated with Botox. See an ophthalmologist.
Limit caffeine, get more sleep. If that doesn’t help see an ophthalmologist.
