Bipolar intrusive memories and paranoia?

Can distress over intrusive "neutral" memories and sudden onset of paranoia be part of Bipolar/hypo-mania or could it potentially be something different?

Thank you for your inquiry.
I am hoping you will discuss this question further with your prescriber, and I also think you may already be aware of your symptoms and have a good working theory about stressors and bipolar symptoms. Increasing effective coping and seeking out good therapy seem prudent.

Yes, and Yes. Consultation with what I hope is a good meds prescriber would be helpful in determining if, for example, you are experiencing a side effect from one of your medications or from an interaction between/among them; or, if it is a part of the bipolar condition itself. Do check it out – you certainly don’t need more problems managing your conditions!

These experiences could definitely be associated with Bipolar disorder. Make an effort to distance yourself when they occur.
