“Birth control pills?”
If my period ends on Wednesday (4/14) if I start taking birth control pills on Thursday, can I skip my next period in May?

Yes, you can run the ‘active hormone pills’ together and skip the placebo pills to ‘skip’ your period; you can do this for 3months in a row, then I usually recommend having a cycle.

In order to skip a period, you would need to continue to take the active pills and skip the sugar pills. Be mindful to take it at the same time each day because missing a pill when you’re taking it for an extended period of time can contribute to breakthrough bleeding.
