Urologist Questions

Bladder stone

I had blood in urine one time. I had a flexi-cystoscopy which revealed a bladder stone. My followup consultation is not for five weeks and I need to make travel arrangements for the autumn. Is this a condition which requires urgent treatment or can I go ahead with my travel and get treatment six months later?

Depends on the size of the stone and what your Urologist advises.
Not a good idea to travel with a sizeable bladder stone. You need to speak with the urologist and ask him/her what is the chance that the stone may be stuck in the urethra and cause difficulty urinating, etc.
