I have a blocked inguinal hernia. Does a laxative help?

You need surgery. See your surgeon.
No, Surgery required.
The hernia needs to be reduced from your groin to relieve the obsruction. A laxative may just cause cramping and worsening pain if the actual blockage is not relived.
Hello,

I am not sure what a blocked hernia is, but I think you mean a blocked bowel. You should see a doctor and you may need surgery. See your health care provider or go to the emergency room.
