Blood pressure medication

For two days I have been experience A-Fit with increase Blood pressure. My blood presssure usually is 138/75 and now it has been running 160/99 to 160/110. Can I take an extra blood pressure until I here from my doctor. I am taking Nifedipine 30 MG once daily now at night can I take two tonight.

No you should not take extra blood pressure medications without seeing your doctor. you should continue your current medications and see your doctor ASAP

You are not at a maximal dose of Nifedipene. That said, in the short term, this is not a worrisome BP. You should communicate with your provider and take the higher dose if that is the choice.
