You should go to an urgent care or emergency dept. for a physical exam and X-rays to see if you have a rib fracture and to make sure there is no damage to your lungs, a pulmonary contusion or a small pneumothorax, which is a puncture to the tissue layer that separates the lung from the chest wall. If air gets in that space, it can compress the lung making it difficult for you to breath and potentially cause other problems too. If your breathing gets any worse snd/or you start coughing up any bloody sputum, do not hesitate, GO TO THE EMERGENCY DEPT!!
X-ray. Go get one.
At a minimum, you need a chest x-ray to be sure you do not have a collapsed lung that is caused by a rib fracture. A collapsed lung will make you feel short of breath. It can cause bigger problems too if it’s not treated. Depending on where your abdominal pain is, they may want to do more imaging like a CAT scan of your abdomen to rule out Interabdominal injury or bleeding. Please head to your nearest emergency room for treatment.
