Burns on the bottoms of my feet?

Hi there. I burnt my feet today by walking barefoot on hot pavement for a long time and I need to know the best and fastest way to help them heal. I am a runner and want to get moving again and I am a little nervous. There is one small blister. I have never been burnt here before. I have used aloe, and before I realized it was burnt I iced my feet. Is it really that bad to put ice on a burn as I’ve heard, or what can I do? I take no medications. Thank you.

For burns on your feet, follow these steps for faster healing:

Cool the burn – Use cool (not ice-cold) water for 10-15 minutes. Avoid direct ice, as it can worsen tissue damage.
Moisturize – Apply aloe vera or a burn cream to soothe the skin.
Protect the blister – If it’s small, don’t pop it. Cover it with a non-stick bandage.
Reduce swelling – Keep your feet elevated when resting.
Avoid running – Give your feet time to heal. Running too soon can cause pain and delay recovery.
If the pain worsens, blisters grow, or skin peels deeply, see a doctor.
