I have crooked teeth and want to treat them. Can I fix my crooked teeth with surgery?

No. You can fix your crooked teeth with braces. If that does not fix all of the issues, then you may need to get jaw surgery but the braces come first.
Normally you can align, level, and derogate crowded teeth orthodontically, non surgically, via aligners or traditional braces. On rare occasions when there is extreme crowding and jaw size discrepancies, then surgical correction make also be indicated.
Your doctor may recommend teeth straightening surgery if your teeth are not straight due to an overbite, underbite, or a misaligned jaw. This surgery realigns your jaw to make your teeth appear straight and an oral surgeon will perform it.
