Can I get a composite veneer on a tooth with a root canal?

I have a tooth with a root canal. Can I get a composite veneer on a tooth with a root canal?

Yes you can, but you are probably better off with a post, core, and a crown. Teeth that had root canals done become brittle over time and are more prone to breaking. Crown would protect it better then a composite veneer.
Back teeth need crowns, front teeth, if broken down, need crowns. If weak, need crowns. Otherwise, it is possible, but don't ask here...Ask your dentist as he is familiar with your teeth, mouth, and if you grind your teeth. Good Luck
Yes, you can get a composite veneer on a tooth that has been root canal treated as long as the tooth in question is an anterior tooth. If it is a posterior tooth it will require a crown.
