You can but not sure why you would want to. Vaseline has been used for tattoos etc to lock germs out but I would need to know the type of wound and how you got it etc before answering that. Remember bacteria like warm moist places to colonize so you may just be giving it the right environment. A wound needs to be as wet as your eye to heal too wet or too dry will delay wound healing.
