Dental crowns made with porcelain(coloured glass) will never stain but crowns made from composite plastic can and will especially if you use chlorhexidine mouthwash for more than 14 days
Yes
Mouthwash is safe and fine to use with crowns but should not replace good brushing and flossing .
Depends on the mouthwash. Some products such as chlorhexidine can stain teeth and restorations. Check with your dentist or hygienist.
Yes, you can use a mouthwash and it will not stain the crowns
Normally, mouth wash does not stain either the natural tooth or a porcelain crown. What stains is the present plaque.
Usually mouth wash does not stain natural teeth or porcelain crowns. The plaque is usually what gets stained.
You can use mouth wash for porcelain dental crowns, bridges, veneers, lumineers, no-prep veneers, however it is best to avoid alcohol containing mouthwashes! Also on the prescription mouth washes such as peridex, limit it to 5 days max, or best yet apply the solution with q-tip on the junction of the gum and the tooth. for more information on porcelain crowns, click here: https://celebritydentist.com/porcelain-crowns/
Laboratory processed crowns won't stain. Directly build-up compsite crowns may stain, however, it can be removed easily at dentist's office.
