Invisalign can can damage if you are using trays incorrectly and not following the guidelines from your doctor.
If you don't follow the plan and advance too rapidly through the aligners...yes. If you start and stop and start and stop, never completing treatment and allowing your teeth to move and relapse and move and relapse...yes. If you eat or drink with the aligners in and the food or drink is held against your teeth...yes. If you skip your dental cleanings...yes. If you don't keep your aligners clean...yes. You get the idea. But if you follow instructions and your dentist's plan it would be extremely rare to harm your teeth. Clear aligners are great.
