Can a child develop heart failure?

I am a 20 year old male. I want to know can a child develop heart failure?

Yes. Anyone can develop heart failure if there is a significant problem with the heart. Heart failure and younger people is usually the result of an infection or congenital heart disease. There also are inherited forms of heart failure, but run in families. If you’re otherwise healthy, heart failure is very rare.
