Can a chiropractor fix a torn shoulder?

I am a 27 year old male. I want to know if a chiropractor fixes a torn shoulder?

We can definitely help with getting some range of motion back, acupuncture may help as well
Structural damage to the rotator cuff usually needs surgical/pain management/rehab intervention If the symptoms are bad enough. Proper diagnosis is essential in treating shoulder injuries. For mild tears or sprain/strains of the rotator cuff rehab exercises, cupping, and dry needling, can help in recovery. Not all chiropractors use these interventions and a simple adjustment will NOT fix a true torn rotator cuff.

That depends upon what you mean by torn shoulder. I frequently treat people with partially torn rotator cuff (mostly acupuncture and rehabilitation) with a lot of success. If the labrum is partially torn that may also benefit from chiropractic, acupuncture, and rehabilitation. But a fully torn rotator cuff or a non-responsive labrum often requires surgical intervention.
Torn shoulder is an Orthopedic potential surgical issue. Chiropractic only treats spinal misaligments.
Definitely not. That needs to be addressed by an orthopedic surgeon.
Chiropractors often treat shoulder issues. It depends if the shoulder tear is mild or significant. A minor tear will often heal with conservative treatment. A major tear where you have difficulty holding your arm up may require an orthopedic consult.

Depends on the type of tear. Mostly after a tear in the shoulder, the chiropractor wouldn’t adjust but would do rehab on your shoulder to get mobility and range of motion back into it. Hope this helps!
A chiropractor can help you to recover from a tear in the rotator cuff muscles or labrum if surgery is not a necessity. A proper orthopedic examination including MRI can help determine a proper diagnosis and severity of the tear. If there is a complete tear, surgery is usually necessary. If the tear is minor, rehab can be very helpful while the tear heals.
If I understand your question is referring to a torn rotator cuff, then the answer is generally no. This term usually refers to a torn labrum. The labrum of the shoulder is the lip of the ligaments that hold the ball of the arm bone [humerus] into the socket of the shoulder joint. It is usually diagnosed by an MRI study using a contrast medium. Exercises to strengthen the rotator cuff muscles can help stabilize the joint if the joint is not too unstable, but typically surgery is required if one has chronic shoulder subluxations or dislocations. One caution though. Surgery is the last thing that one should try. Many people have more trouble after surgery than they had before with about 20 percent needing a second surgery. Get a second or third opinion before agreeing to that procedure.
