Infant, toddlers and babies all have faster heart rates than adults. Like adults, their heart rate will increase with activity, heightened emotion, dehydration, fever or other illness. Another common cause of increased arrhythmia, or an abnormal heart rhythm. Your child's heart rate can vary. I would recommend getting her vitals checked by your pediatrician to ensure it is in the normal range. Good luck.
